The special education services and the law firm of Aspire Special Education Law & Services (ASPIRE) was established by Scott Westin, J.D., in 2001. The practice has expanded over the years to include special education and healthcare specialists to better serve children with disabilities throughout the nation. Our company is committed to maintaining highly personal, close professional relationships with each of our clients and staff.

Scott Westin, J.D.

Scott Westin, founder and company owner, provides legal services out of the principle headquarters of Aspire Special Education Law & Services in NYC. In addition to his own cases in special education law, he is the Senior Attorney, and supports and supervises the work of the company’s educational advocates and attorneys

Director, East Coast region

Alyssa Clark, MS, CCC-SLP

Denisha is a licensed and ASHA certified SLP, clinical director managing a team of special education and healthcare specialists in the east coast region.  She provides clinical support, collaborates with school district special education directors and program coordinators.

Jim Davis, DPT

Jim recently joined our team to help manage the midwest/west coast region. Jim Davis, Doctor of Physical Therapy, manages a team of special education and healthcare specialists offering clinical support, collaborating with school district special education directors and program coordinators.

John Miller, J.D.

John Miller is the leading attorney at ASPIRE. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from NYU. He has served as an adjunct professor of the Special Education Advocacy Clinic, Pepperdine University School of Law.  He has also trained Orange County Superior Court Judges regarding special education law.

Adam has extensive experience in special education law and utilizing various techniques designed to meet the specific needs of the plaintiff. He regularly assists school districts in navigating through difficult situations.

Dan Madison, J.D.

Dan is an experienced attorney with nearly 20 years at the bar, and has a tremendous passion for special education in addition to significant past litigation experience. Dan has been active in special education law practice for many years, and is well connected with, and involved in, the special education community. He is well versed in special education law and procedures, and possesses valuable courtroom experience.
